Paris FC represents a fundamental and often underestimated part of the French capital's football history. Founded on August 1, 1969, the club was born from the ambition to provide Paris with an elite team. This initial drive led to a merger with Stade Saint-Germain in 1970, creating Paris Saint-Germain.
However, in 1972, a split divided the entity: Paris FC retained professional status and its place in the top division, while PSG was administratively relegated. Throughout the decades, Paris FC has experienced a trajectory of highs and lows, competing in the top tiers of French football as well as in lower divisions. This history has forged a character of struggle and perseverance.
Unlike its more famous neighbor, Paris FC has cultivated an identity based on proximity to its fans and a more traditional stadium atmosphere. The club is an emblem for those seeking an authentic football experience, rooted in the community of southern Paris. Attending one of its matches is to connect with the essence of the sport, where passion for the colors and unconditional support are the true protagonists, offering a different and complementary vision of the city's vibrant football landscape.
